Goodbye, Silver Lake. Hello, DTLA!

It’s official! I’m moving to the arts district

You read that right!

I’m moving out of Silver Lake, and moving to The Things We Do in the Arts District at Row DTLA!

I will continue seeing patients at GraceFull Birthing until the end of March 2023, and I will officially start seeing patients at The Things We Do at Row DTLA starting April 1, 2023.

This was a hard decision for me to make since Silver Lake has felt like home, but I recognized that I needed a change while I continue to grow as a skin-focused naturopathic provider. And, I am honestly very excited to work with an enthusiastic group of skin-focused providers at The Things We Do. I am also excited to bring my “skin health is a reflection of inner healthphilosophy to the Things We Do community!

At The Things We Do, I will continue to provide naturopathic medical care for complex acne and eczema cases. I will also continue to provide naturopathic care for various gut and hormone imbalances for people looking for holistic and integrative support.

I’ve answered some questions you might have below

What is The Things We Do?

The Things We Do is a medical spa that focuses on holistic and integrative aesthetics founded by celebrity-trusted & world-renowned Medical Aesthetics Provider Vanessa Lee, RN.

The Things We Do has an amazing team of registered nurses and estheticians who are passionate about restoring and improving facial balance and harmony through Natural Intentional Beauty Guidance.

The team provides cutting-edge aesthetics services while also strongly believing in the power of nature. Click here to learn more about what services they offer.

And, I am very excited to be their in-house Naturopathic Doctor at their Downtown Los Angeles location.

The Things We Do at Row DTLA is located at 787 S Alameda St #100, Los Angeles, CA 90021. PS, they have a parking structure at the Row DTLA that has free 2-hour parking!

What will not change:

Much like with how I see patients at GraceFull Birthing, I will continue treating complex acne and eczema cases from a root-cause point-of-view at The Things We Do at Row DTLA.

So, naturopathic treatments with me will continue to be personalized, holistic, natural, and integrative in-nature.

Visits with me:

Patients can continue to expect in-person and telehealth visits. And, telehealth visits will continue to only be offered to existing patients residing in the state of California.

Visits with me will continue to be out-of-pocket and I will continue to not accept insurance. Patients with PPO insurance can also continue to receive superbills for possible reimbursement from their insurance companies after paying out-of-pocket for their services. I will also continue to accept HSA and FSA payments for naturopathic services.

Working with me:

I will continue to require all patients to have a primary care physician (PCP) when working with me as my services will continue to be adjunctive in-nature.

If you do not have a primary care physician, a provider I commonly refer to is Dr. Jack O’Brien, DO. (He’s great and amazing)

Scheduling your appointment:

Current and new patients can continue to schedule online on my website.

Additionally, patients can now schedule on the phone: (424) 268-8976

Labs:

Any bloodwork that I order will continue to be completed through Quest Diagnostics, which may be covered by a patient’s insurance depending on what their coverage is.

Functional labs such as Diagnostics Solutions GI-Map stool analysis testing and Precision Analytics DUTCH Test hormone testing will continue to be out-of-pocket for the patient. And, I will continue to prioritize labs that will minimize costs for patients.

Many of you know how passionate I am about treating acne and eczema with root-cause and natural options, and I cannot wait to see all of you at The Things We Do!

What Will change:

While there are many things that will stay the same, there are some things that will change once I start at The Things We Do.

Services I’m offering:

Other than being in a new location, starting April 2023, I will not be offering IV hydration therapy, vitamin injections, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial treatments.

This doesn’t mean they’ll be gone forever though.

If there is demand for these procedures, I may bring them back into my menu of services and treatments. But for the foreseeable future, I will only be focusing on naturopathic medical consultations at The Things We Do.

Days I’m seeing patients:

Starting April 1, 2023, I will see patients at The Things We Do at Row DTLA on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

So, I will not be seeing patients on Saturdays for the time being.

But again, this doesn’t mean this change is forever though. If there is a demand for Saturdays, I may bring back Saturday appointments.

Although, I am excited to start offering Friday appointments at The Things We Do.
